Havasu Falls and the other waterfalls on the creek can be visited as part of a trip onto the Havasupai reservation, home of the Havasupai tribe.

It is a tributary to the Colorado River, which it enters in the Grand Canyon. The worst thing I've ever seen in my life happened at Havasupai. The horses and mules are abused, where many of them are thin and have open bleeding sores on their backs from carrying packs and around the tops of their hooves.
